Donor Program for individuals, companies and institutions – Platinum

The Mountain Child Care Business Trek

Entrepreneurs who want to support a good cause and long to hike high up in the stunning Himalayas, will find all they want on the Mountain Child Care Business Trek. Your donation of € 7,500, secures you a place, leaving early November 2011 for a 5-day luxury trek with fellow entrepreneurs in the Mount Everest region of Nepal. Awesome clear views, clean air and clarity of thought, with fascinating routes tailored to your levels during the day, followed by relaxing evenings with good food, good wine and good companions in the comfort of luxury lodges.

Among the highlights are the flight from Kathmandu to Lukla along the Himalaya range, the breath-taking views from many eight thousand metre peaks, the thriving village of Namche Bazar (made famous by the first successful ascent of Mount Everest by Sir Edmund Hillary), the monasteries, and the thrilling helicopter ride back to Kathmandu from Mende, stopping for 20 minutes at Kwongde. At 4750 metres, Kwongde is considered by many to have the best views of Mount Everest.

The Trek ends with an interactive program with one of the partner organizations in Kathmandu. Nepalese Questers will organize a short leadership program for their guests, sharing exercises of their QuestTrek. After that the group dines at the exclusive Black Pepper restaurant, run by a socially responsible Nepalese businessman that supports the work of Mountain Child Care.
